Zunoki privacy policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Zunoki is a brain, word and math training app made by ubecat studio (“we”). This policy explains what Zunoki stores, what leaves your phone, and the choices you have.

What stays on your phone

Zunoki has no accounts and no Zunoki servers. Everything below is stored only on your device:

Your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) may include this data, under Apple's or Google's terms. If you save a backup file from Settings, it goes wherever you choose to put it.

You can erase all of it at any time in Settings › Delete my data, or by deleting the app.

Speaking games

Speaking games use the microphone only while that game is on screen, and only after you allow it. Your phone's speech recognition turns what you say into text so Zunoki can check your answer. It runs on the phone when it can; otherwise your phone sends the audio to Apple's or Google's speech service, under their privacy terms. Zunoki does not record, keep or send your audio or transcripts. Speaking games are optional and can be turned off in Settings.

Advertising

Zunoki is free because it shows ads, provided by Google AdMob. Ads never appear during a game: at most one ad after a finished workout on some days, and videos you choose to watch for a stated reward.

To show and measure ads, Google's advertising SDK collects information such as your device's advertising identifier, approximate location based on your IP address, device and app details, ad interactions, and crash and performance data. Google's use of this information is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your choices:

Buying Remove ads turns off the after-workout ad.

Game Center

Game Center is optional and off until you choose “Connect Game Center” in Zunoki. If you do, Zunoki sends Apple your leaderboard scores (your leaves, best streak and medal points) and the achievements you have earned, so Apple can show rankings. Apple runs Game Center under its own privacy policy; Zunoki has no accounts and never sees your name or Apple ID. You can stop at any time with “Stop sharing”. Zunoki also draws a picture of your Sprig when you tap “Show off Sprig”; it is made on your phone and goes only where you choose to send it.

Purchases

“Remove ads” is bought through the App Store or Google Play. They handle the payment; Zunoki never sees your payment details. Zunoki only learns that the purchase was made, so it can turn ads off.

Children

Zunoki is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Selling data

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it except with the advertising provider as described above.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for important changes, mention it in the app's update notes.
